About the Opportunity

CREEE.IN is recruiting creative and enthusiastic Course Designers to work exclusively on the Merlin School of Future Skills project, an international digital learning initiative developed by Mentor Merlin UK Ltd. Merlin School of Future Skills develops high-quality, foundation-level micro-courses designed to help learners gain practical knowledge and accelerate their career progression.

Our courses are created for learners from diverse educational backgrounds and focus on making complex topics easy to understand through engaging visual learning. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a newly established Course Factory where you will help shape the future of digital education by designing courses that will be used by learners worldwide.

About the Role

As a Course Designer, your primary responsibility will be transforming curriculum scripts prepared by academic teams into engaging educational videos and digital learning resources. The role focuses on creating visually attractive, learner-friendly content that explains foundation-level concepts clearly and effectively.

Note: You are not expected to be an expert in every subject. Instead, we are looking for individuals who are naturally curious, enjoy learning new concepts, researching unfamiliar topics, and presenting information in a simple, engaging, and visually appealing way.

Key Responsibilities

·        Convert curriculum scripts into engaging educational video presentations.

·        Design visually appealing slides, graphics, animations, and learning resources.

·        Produce learner-friendly foundation-level educational content.

·        Research unfamiliar topics to improve learner understanding and presentation quality.

·        Work closely with curriculum developers, academic reviewers, and quality assurance teams.

·        Maintain consistency in branding and visual identity across all learning materials.

·        Meet agreed production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

·        Continuously improve existing courses based on feedback and quality reviews.

·        Contribute creative ideas to improve learner engagement and learning experience.

Essential Requirements

·        Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.

·        Strong aesthetic sense, including colour, typography, layout, and visual balance.

·        Proficiency in Canva (essential).

·        Strong organisational and time management skills.

·        Excellent attention to detail.

·        Ability to simplify complex information into easy-to-understand learning content.

·        Strong research skills and willingness to learn unfamiliar subjects.

·        Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.

·        Passion for education, creativity, and continuous learning.

Desirable Skills

Experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage:

·        Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut / Camtasia

·        Figma / Adobe Illustrator

·        Articulate Storyline

·        AI-assisted content creation tools

·        Basic audio and video editing software

This role offers a structured career pathway within the Course Factory:

Course Designer → Course Design Executive → Team Leader Trainee → Team Leader → Assistant Manager → Design Team Manager

Recruitment Process

1.      Stage 1 - Application: Submit your CV through our Careers Portal.

2.      Stage 2 - Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted based on qualifications, relevant experience, creativity, and overall suitability for the role.

3.      Stage 3 - Online Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online practical assessment. You will receive one or more design tasks that evaluate your creativity, presentation skills, research ability, attention to detail, and ability to convert written curriculum content into engaging educational materials.

4.      Stage 4 - Interview: Candidates who successfully complete the assessment may be invited to attend one or two rounds of interviews before a final selection is made.
